About Osprey Oasis
At Osprey Oasis of Tervo, you can watch and photograph osprey at close range from a hide.
A natural pond has been designed and built for the ospreys, where they get food for themselves and their chicks every day. Rainbow salmon are mostly caught in the ospreys's claws, but the pond also has its natural food, such as bream, bream, pike and perch.
The conditions of the oasis are excellent from the point of view of both fish and mosquitoes. At best, there are up to 10-15 strikes in one day.

Seasons
The hottest season in the oasis are the periods from the beginning of April to the middle of May and the whole of August until the beginning of September. June is usually a quiet time, but osprey visits start to increase from mid-July.
In the oasis, in addition to ospreys, you can also see other interesting bird and mammal species with good luck. From August, gray herons are regular guests at the oasis. When the autumn evenings get dark, the otters and foxes also go on the move, making visits to the oasis area as well.
Eagles can be seen in the area almost every day. Under certain conditions, it is also possible to photograph it. By the end of September, even the last local and passing ospreys have left for their wintering grounds towards the African equator.
